Most recently PlayTales spent an entire week in Bologna, Italy at the 2012 Children’s Book Fair. While attending this annual event, we had the opportunity to network, share ideas and above all, soak up all the knowledge we could. The amount of talent in those who attended the Book Fair was inspirational. We met many successful illustrators, publishers, authors and educators who shared with us their suggestions about making PlayTales even more educationally enriching.

Barcelona, Spain - At the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this week, PlayTales the dynamic bookstore app for iTunes and Android platforms, won the AppCircus Audience Award from the 48 apps in competition.

Desde el día 6 y hasta el próximo 11 de marzo arranca la primera edición de la Feria Virtual del Libro. Se trata del primer evento online de estas características que se celebra en el mundo. Los visitantes podrán acceder a los 31 expositores presentes y participar en las más de 30 actividades programadas, las 24 horas del día, desde cualquier parte del mundo, aunque la feria nace dirigida a los lectores, autores y editoriales de España y Latinoamérica.

Genera Interactive and TouchyBooks were present at the Consumer Electronics Show 2012, held in Las Vegas between 10th and 13th January. CES is the biggest international consumer technology show, with a total of 135.00 participants able to see at first hand the success of the children’s interactive books, among other things.

Genera Interactive has dived into the world of the pop-up, and they have done it in style, with a delightful application, 'The Wizard of Oz,' which has just landed in the Apple Store and is now available for iPad. Soon, it will be available for iPhone.
